Amazing collection of beautiful free social media icons
Andy and I often collaborate on web design projects. Andy’s the artist and I’m the code monkey which is why I call myself a web developer versus a web designer. But today I’m going to venture into Andy’s territory just a little bit to point out this wonderful collection of free social media icons that Siva Kumar has thrown together over at 1st Wed Designer.
You don’t have to be a web designer to appreciate, or benefit, from these icon packs. Everybody wants stylish icons to show off links to their social media accounts and Siva has collected together 50 of the best. These range from the ultra-specialized like Pasquale D’Silva’s pastel-colored and too cute for words Twitter birds or Janko Jovanovic’s, umm, cheesy, RSS feed icons to general, everyday, icon packs such as WebTreat’s simple white social media icons and orange grunge stickers.
My favorites have to be Dawghouse Design Studio’s vintage postage stamp, worn-out soda cans, peeling grunge stickers, and woven fabric social icon sets.
Nishad2m8′s jeans pocket social media icon pack deserves special mention as well.

Ooh, I haven’t seen those soda cans before. I think it is a tossup for me between the vintage postcard stamps and the soda cans.
